Faye has been a nutritionist in private practice in The Washington, D.C. area since 1988. She specializes in working with clients to successfully attain a healthy weight, eat more sensibly, drop cholesterol values, normalize eating habits and achieve many other health outcomes.

Clients are referred to Faye by friends, doctors, psychotherapists and fitness facilities for weight management, eating disorders treatment, child and teen nutrition, healthy family eating, heart healthy diets and many other health and wellness reasons.

Often quoted in The Washington Post and USA Today, Faye hosted Nutrition Now a biweekly television spot on cable evening news. She is a respected nutrition expert amongst many media channels.

She is the co-creator of the workshops titled Be Your Own Boss: The Basics of Starting a Private Practice and the Be Your Own Boss Starter Kit created to help dietitians across the nation with their private practice. She has presented workshops and seminars several times at the American Dietetic Association's annual meeting on this topic.

Faye has compiled all the lessons she learned while setting up her successful private practice, has interviewed other successful private practitioners and has shared that information in the book she co-authored titled ADA Guide to Private Practice. Additionally, Faye provides individual consultation to dietitians across the country to assist them with establishing and growing their private practices for customized advice and guidance.

Faye has been a spokesperson for several major food companies including Kraft, Dannon and Hunts to help promote food products and positive nutrition messages.

Faye is the past media representative for the D.C. Dietetic Association, and past director of members services of Nutrition Entrepreneurs, a dietetic practice group of the American Dietetic Association. Faye has received the Recognized Young Dietitian Award from the American Dietetic Association.

Personal Information

When not busy with her work, Faye is at home in Potomac, Maryland with her husband or carpooling her 2 young energetic daughters.

Faye also enjoys winding down entertaining (and feeding) friends and family in her home.
